EU Settlement Scheme

The EU Settlement Scheme enables EU nationals living in the UK, and their family members, to obtain the UK immigration status they will require to live, work and study in the UK after Britain leaves the EU.

If you are a European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) or Swiss citizen who wants to live, work or study in the UK after Britain leaves the EU, you and your family need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme.

Newport is home to thousands of EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens who contribute to our communities. We want all EU citizens in Newport to be able to continue living and working in the city and to be able to access all the services and benefits that they are entitled to.

Apply

Applications to the EU Settlement Scheme must be made before 30 June 2021. The application is an online process accessed on the UK Government’s website.
