I wish to send my sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and her family at this sad time. I would like to pay tribute to HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, for all the sterling work he has done for Great Britain.

An extraordinary public servant, I am saddened to hear of the passing of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. His revolutionary awards scheme for young people has transformed many lives, including some of those in our city.
