Bank Holiday collections - reminder

Newport City Council will be collecting refuse and garden waste on the usual days during Bank Holiday week.
This means collections on 28 May will be as a normal week.
Wastesavers will also be collecting kerbside recycling on normal days that week so please put out your boxes and red bags.
It means that council refuse teams and Wastesavers will be working on Monday 28 May for those households who normally have Monday collections and so on through the week.
Friday collections will also be made as normal rather than on the Saturday as has happened previously after a bank holiday.
The same schedule will apply for the late summer Bank Holiday in August.
